Responsibilities

  • Client Interaction and Scheduling: Schedule client appointments, greet clients, manage telephones, and coordinate staff schedules in alignment with clients' needs.

  • Billing and Payments: Collect client payments and ensure consistent and appropriate billing practices.

  • Administrative Support: Serve as administrative support for GIFTS staff, including inputting new clients into the EHR system and obtaining initial authorizations for care through insurance companies.

  • Office Management: Order office supplies, maintain office cleanliness, and perform other duties as assigned.

  • Compliance: Maintain and adhere to COMAR and HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check

  • At least two years' experience in providing administrative services in a behavioral health environment (preferred)
